Talking About Myself
A.K.A. THE "ABOUT ME" SECTION
I recently graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Communications and a B.A. in Writing. I've had a variety of internship experiences, each teaching me skills in marketing, interviewing, social media, project management, sales, and copywriting and editing.
have an avid social media presence and following (52k on TikTok) and have used my platform to tell relatable stories about being a 20-something and to create niche content for the Jewish community.
Most recently, I worked at LoveShackFancy in Sag Harbor, where I unexpectedly took on a Key Holder position, which taught me the ins and out of the fashion industry, retail operations, and customer service.
In summer 2022, I had the opportunity to work as an editorial intern at Modern Luxury, where I researched and wrote about restaurants, fashion, and events in The Hamptons, Aspen, and Palm Springs.
During my senior year at Syracuse, I worked remotely as a digital editor for The Knot Worldwide, where I learned about using a digital CMS and the intricacies of major event planning and marketing.
I grew up in downtown Manhattan, and my experiences between NYC private and public schools have given me a unique, completely unabashed voice and insight on the modern young adult. As a writer and Editor-in-Chief for several on-campus publications at Syracuse University, I aim not only to inspire but to make people laugh, think, and learn more.
When you’re writing to and becoming accessible to an audience, empathy and understanding is incredibly important in making people feel seen and heard. I pride myself on a knowledge of my audience and of those around me, and when writing and editing, I often take sociocultural observation and psychology into consideration. With this level of understanding, I intend to make everybody feel like they’re talking to their best friend.
